It is a truth broadly acknowledged that Arabic language is rich and so is its vocabulary.

Derivation as being one of the pertinent divisions within the Arabic language vocabulary is widely regarded as a linguistic mechanism that functions on its own based on the principle of reproduction of the semantic connotations of the linguistic material.

This feature has characterized the Arabic language process in the sense that it has become widely used and having many derivative (meaningful) origins which is quite banal for a language-based material to have multiple derivational origins.

However, some believe in the assumption that the linguistic material has a single derivative origin, denying that it has multiple derivative origins, basing in this on the fact that the letters of the assets are themselves present in all the derivatives branching from them.

And for this, the principle of derivational origin is seen from two different perspectives: First as the multiplicity of derivative assets, and secondly as a unit of derivatives origin.
