The research aimed to verify the effectiveness of a training program based on analyzing news content in developing critical thinking skills among a sample of educational media students at the Faculty of Specific Education, Minia University, by measuring the impact of the program on developing critical thinking skills in the experimental research sample, which is a quasi-experimental study.

It was applied on an experimental sample of (30) male and female students, in addition to a control sample of (30) other students, The study reached several results, the most prominent of which are: The effectiveness and significant impact of the training program based on analyzing the news content in developing critical thinking skills among students of educational media, the experimental research sample, It has also been proven that there are statistically significant differences between the experimental and control groups in the post application of critical thinking skills for the benefit of the experimental group students.

The skill of evaluating arguments, allegations, and analysis came at the forefront of the skills that were developed among the students of the experimental sample following the implementation of the training program, then the skill of interpretation and finally the conclusion.
