Abstract EN

This research aims at legitimizing the principles of lawful advisory governance of Islamic banks.

It also tries to clarify the concepts and the vocabulary of those principles as well as tracing their roots in the Holy Qur'an and Sunnah.

The research has concluded with an appropriate definition of the principles of lawful advisory governance, and the legitimacy of those principles with reference to the Holy Qur'an and Sunnah.

The research has recommended observing the impact of applying lawful advisory governance in the real world of banking as well as legitimizing other principles which have not been mentioned in the instructions of that governance.

The research applies the analytical and deductive approaches.

The analytical approach is utilized in the analysis of the principles of governance considering the legitimate basis upon which they relied.

As for the deductive approach, this research investigates those principles in its search of the benefits beyond achieving them in the real world of banking and finance.
