Abstract EN

The present research aims at tracing the origins of the dissected words and establishing a comprehensible concept of the dissected words in Arabic language, specifying its divisions, understanding the views of the linguists, morphologists and the grammarians regarding the dissected words.

In addition, the research is keen on highlighting the different features of the dissected words for the lexicographers through displaying the phenomenon and discussing it.

Such features include the difference around the plural of the dissected words, controlling them, specifying the origin of the dissected words and the morphological scale of the dissected words.

.

etc.

The research applies the descriptive approach which relies on observing new phenomena and subjecting them to discussion and analysis.

By the end of the research, the researcher has emphasized some findings such as the fact that Abul- Kassm Al- Mua'deb was the first to use the concept of the "Dissected" in morphological studies and the accurate definition of the concept of of the dissected includes all the words where the two similar letters are dissected by inserting an original letter.

The research has also proved that the dissected words consist of three, four or five letters if they are nouns but they consist of three or four letters if they are verbs.

This rule is different from that of Al- Mua'deb or Abu Hayyan since they confined their studies to dissected words of three letters.

The research has also proved that the grammarians and morphologists disagreed around the dissected words; some of them believed that they are just few words while others believe they are numerous but the research found that the usage of the dissected words is slightly concise and this idea is based upon three elements.

The researcher has also managed to specify the linguistic root of some dissected words around which the lexicographers differed.

The researcher has succeeded in specifying the ground of similarity between morphological forms of the dissected words.

The aspects of similarity are about sixteen.

Moreover, the word "aja" is a proper dissected word because "alfaa" and "alla'm" are "hamzatai'n" and they come at the very beginning of the chapter and the velar letters represent "alfaa" and "alla'm" in the dissected word of only three letters.

These letters do not appear in the dissected words of four or five letters.

In the Holy Qur'an, the dissected words are only those of three letters.

The research recommends studying the linguistic roots of words largely to answer the questions does the dissected noun of two similar letters such as the word "Sundos" belong to the dissected?
