Abstract EN

This study aimed to depict the importance of the approach that Abul-Hasan Al-Rumani followed in the book the meanings of the letters, and to identify what Al-Rumani added to the Arabic library of thought.

The study plan consisted of the preface which identified justifications for choosing the topic, its objectives, its importance, and the previous studies.

The first topic tackled Abu Al-Hasan Al-Romani, his life and his scientific production.

The second topic addressed the book of meanings of letters.

The third topic depicted his method of presenting the material.

The fourth topic addressed his attention to the cause and his position on grammatical terms.

The fifth topic delineated Al-Ramani's position on grammatical origins.

The research conclusion included the most prominent results summarized in paying attention to the meanings of letters helps a lot in understanding the verses of the Noble Qur'an, and the clarity of the significance of its linguistic miraculousness.
