You are forbidden to me like my mother's back) by collecting all the Hadiths narrated on this topic, discrediting, accrediting the narrators according to their biographical backgrounds, and appraising them with justifications.

According to the findings of this research, scholars are not agreed about the Hadiths narrated on Ẓihār.

Some scholars, such as Ibn ˁArabī rejected those Hadiths, and others accepted only some of them.

However, Al-Būkhārī and Muslim did not report any of them.

The Ẓihār Hadiths have been narrated by six Companions, but none of them is authentic.

The most reliable is the one narrated by ˁĀˀishah, may Allah be pleased with her, as it was considered authentic by Al-Ḩākim, Adh-Dhahabī, Ibn Ḩajar, and others.

However, Al-Būkhārī considered its chain of narrators to be broken because it included Al-Āˁmash.

The Hadiths narrated with chains of narrators that included ˁIkrimah, Muhammad Ibn Kaˁb, ˁImrān Ibn Abi ˀĀnas, Abī Al-ˁĀliyah, ˁUrwah, Saˁīd Ibn Al-Musayyib, Ṣālih Ibn Kisān, Yazīd Ibn Zayd, ˁAtāˀ Ibn Yasār, and Qatādah are all considered broken (or unattached: Mursalah).
