Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the level of practicing crisis management skills among the administrative leaderships at the University of Aden.

It also intended to find out whether there are any statistically significant differences related to the variables (gender, qualification, job and years of experience).

The study population consisted of all administrative leaderships at the University of Aden, including (253), while the sample of study included (80) respondents.

The study was based on the descriptive-analytical method.

The field data were collected through a prepared questionnaire, which consisted of two sections.

The first is related to general information about the sample members, second is focused on crisis management skills.

The questionnaire included (44) items, The study reached a number of results, including: First, the level of practicing crisis management skills was average in all fields (creative thinking, planning, communication, negotiation and problem solving ).

The overall arithmetic mean for all fields was (3.08).

Second, there are statistically significant differences according to the gender variable, the job variable, and the academic qualification variable.

Third, there are no statistically significant differences in the fields of (conscious thinking, planning, communication, negotiation and problem solving).
