The effectiveness of cooperative learning in developing the skills of the Estanbuli embroidery style” serma” for students 
The research aims to measure the effectiveness of cooperative learning using the Jigsaw strategy in raising the level of cognitive achievement and the skill performance related to the skills of the Estanbuli embroidery style, compared to the traditional way.

The research sample included (42) students in the third year in the Department of Educational Home Economics, Faculty of Home Economics.

The sample was divided into two groups.

(21) students control sample studied the knowledge and skills related to the subject of learning traditionally (demonstration).

Another experimental division of (21) students studied the cooperative learning method using the jigsaw strategy after dividing them into four cooperative groups according to the lesson planning.

One of the most important findings of the research is the effectiveness of applying the cooperative learning method in developing the students' skills in preparing and implementing the style of Estanbuli embroidery.

As it resulted in the presence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.01) between the control and experimental groups, in Knowledge and skills pre / post-test, for the experimental group < /p>
