Abstract EN

This study seeks to highlight the importance of big data in decision support, and assess “ITQAN” system, through the interface and the induction guide, attempting to reach results to develop the system applications to analyze the big data efficiently to support decision maker in the University.

This is an evaluation study using a descriptive analytical method through documentary studies and evaluation of “ITQAN” system.

It provided a range of predictive models that can be utilized in the development of the applied side of the system of “ITQAN” functionality and emulate them to support decision making at King Saud University.

Recommendations include periodic studies in this topic developing the capabilities of the “ITQAN” system to match the comparable semantic search engines, and incorporating more predictive models that help the system to manage the big data in order to support decision making at the University.
