Al-kindy is the first Arabic and Islamic philosopher who emerged in the Arab and Islamic Philosophy.

Through his compositions and theses, he revealed his views in various philosophical fields like the existence, the world and human, including related to reasons of happiness and misery.

He sees that the happiness of the soul is when it leaves the body and joins the upper world, and its happiness is in what it sees and learns from knowledge, and facts, there is no way for the soul to achieve this happiness unless it is purified and be pure from the sins of desires and pleasures , so if it leaves the body and is not a pure , then it undergoes a phase of Purification through the movement of the soul from the orbit of one planet to the orbit of another one until the soul becomes pure and ready to reach the higher sphere and the sacred world joins the happy souls, and among the ways to achieve happiness is looking, thinking, contemplation, asceticism and detachment from the world.
