Abstract EN

Ancient Arab scholars have counted the Bedouins as one of the prime tributaries of language compilation.

This, in itself, calls us to consider these Bedouins and explore and assess their contribution to the Arabic language.

This paper is an attempt to compile the narrations of one of these Bedouins, i.

e.

Umm Al-Haitham Al-Numairyah, who gained the trust of Arab linguists on account of her eloquence.

This paper, which utilizes the descriptive and analytical approach, is divided into four sections that include exploring Umm Al-Haitham Al-Numairyah's linguistic lexicon, the phonological, morphological and semantic aspects in her narrations.

These four sections are preceded by an introduction and preface and followed by a conclusion and various bibliographies and appendices.

Furthermore, this paper is meant to highlight how Abu Hatem Al-Sijistany (d.

255 H.

) celebrated and trusted the narrations of Umm Al-Haitham Al- Numairyah.

It had been proven that she had narrated unique and unprecedented lexical terms.

This fact is acknowledged in the ancient Arabic lexicons which took her narrations for granted.

This was also the case with many scholars of Qur'amic recitations who reported on her and documented some of the abnormal recitations following the steps of Abu Hatem Al-Sijistany's knowledge and documentation of them.
