Abstract EN

There is no doubt the importance of myth was initiated with the beginning of human life and before the creation, so this is timeless and placeless phenomenon but the death was and will be one of the most important and scariest human meeting during his lifetime.

Because human knew it as end of life or a bridge for transfer to afterlife and there is no doubt in Iran and Mesopotamia human attitude.

It's an accepted phenomenon and definite truth.

Also, animals are specially important in human life he has been accompanied by them from the beginning of creation and it would be olutely clear that they were created coincident with human or before him when we investigate their old role based on history and myth and they will play a important role in human life.

We find their important role in history study and primitive man life while he had used them to defend against the dangers or benefit them in the other way.

And we confront to animal appearance in afterlife in death and underworld myth of different country.

In this study investigators comparatively investigate and by myth critique method and based on France comparative literature study animals appearance in death and underworld world myths of Persian and Mesopotamia literature so to reach this purpose at first animals appearance in underworld of Iran and Mesopotamia myth will be separately investigated and then mentioned the similarities and dissimilarities between these two literatures.

The results of this study show Iran and Mesopotamia thinkers have affected each other in animals appearance myth in underworld and deads world and there are similarities and differences about how this appearance is, number of animals appeared in myth, negative and positive role with god of underworld
