The research deals with the policy practiced by the Japanese occupation in Borneo Island from 1941 to 1945.

The Island was considered as one of the schemes implemented by the Japanese expansion at the beginning of the 2nd World War to occupy large areas in the East and Southeast of Asia.

During the process of occupation in the Island, Japan conducted special policy at the level of government management and at the social, economic, and cultural levels also.

Further, Japan endeavored to monopolize mineral and agricultural resources and changes social and cultural ideologies on behalf of the Japanese extremist expansion
