The researcher studied the subject of the concept of glory in pre-Islamic poetry, in which he explained the concept of the Arabic dictionary to define this concept.

As this perception revealed overlapping and intertwining definitions in connotations, the researcher took a careful pause to discuss it, for lack of confidence and not accepting it for three reasons, and then coming up with a clear and accurate definition, based on the same poetic texts, and the research highlighted two kinds of glory, the first of which is Personal glory (individual) and the second: collective (inherited) glory.

The research also showed that pre-Islamic glory was built on three pillars, the first of which is "the days", the second is : the "system of values", and the third is : "historical human symbols"
