Abstract EN

This study came to demonstrate the adequacy of the legal rules in controlling and organizing the mechanism used in the recruitment of foreign workers in Iraqi legislation in line with the circumstances and changes that affect the interests of the state at the national or international level.

The mechanism that we are interested in looking at is nothing more than a form of regulatory measures that the state monopolizes.

And it is governed by its internal laws.

In terms of the general principle, there is nothing in most of the constitutions and legislations of countries that prohibits foreigners from the right to work and practice professional economic activity in the territory of a country whose nationality does not hold, unless a special prohibition is stipulated in this, so that a foreigner can start work on the land of a country other than his own.

He must be allowed to enter its territory and reside in it in a legal manner, and this can only be done through the foreigner obtaining a visa or entry visa that enables him to enter the territory of the state and this feature may entail the necessity for him to obtain his project residence in order to practice his work and continue in it without obstacles or any accountability Legal from the host country.
