Abstract EN

This research deals with the effective utilization of digital communication in fostering innovation and creativity within Sharjah Police G.H.Q.

The aim is to improve performance at police institutions in UAE.

The key objectives of this research included: exploring Sharjah Police leadership' role in fostering innovation and creativity in policing; exploring the innovative ways of utilizing digital communication and developing an innovative model for community security.

Research adopted descriptive, survey and analytical methods and summed up with numerous findings, chief among them was that innovation and creativity within Sharjah Police were not confined to specific ranks but were in place at all levels.

Findings have shown that (98.5%) of survey sample believed that Sharjah Police had a significant role in innovation and creativity processes.

(28%) believed that innovation and creativity were centered on digital communication area, followed by innovation and creativity in community awareness area (21%); in strategic planning area (16.5%) and in ways of dealing with the public (12%).

(95%) of survey sample agreed to the development of a community security model, while (5%) did not, deeming that unnecessary for the developed and supervised plans
