Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the role of the school in promoting volunteering culture among students of general education schools in the Municipality of the capital Sana’a from the point of view of the teachers of these schools, through the curriculum and student activities.

The study adopted the descriptive analytical method, using a questionnaire as a tool of study consisting of (26) paragraphs.

The research community consisted of all teachers of the general education schools (elementary and secondary) in the Municipality of the capital Sana’a, which is estimated to be (18578) teachers.

A stratified sample was selected together with a simple random sample.

The study sample consisted of (400) teachers, the research found the following results: (1) the total average of the sample was (2.14), and the standard deviation was (0.69), while the average score was (low); and (2) there were no statistically significant differences between the sample’s responses to the variables (type of school - educational time – educational level - the qualification of the teachers - experience years of the teacher).
