Abstract EN

This study is intended to identify the social factors influencing family dialogue during Coronavirus Pandemic.

With this end in view, study identified the reality of familial dialogue; major impediments to familial dialogue and the role of family upbringing in promoting such dialogue.

Study used descriptive approach, with an online questionnaire administered to a study sample on social media groups in Riyadh City.

The sample comprised (130) married males who were Saudi Nationals, and the questionnaire was primarily designed for couples; the aim was to identify social factors influencing family dialogue during Coronavirus time.

The key social factors influencing familial dialogue, according to study findings, were psychological factors: quarantine period brought couples closer and promoted a culture of familial dialogue while modern technology facilitated communication between family members.

Impediments to familial dialogue included: finally the psychological incompatibility between couples.
