The importance of the study stems from the fact that it deals with one of the most important issues raised in the field of international media: the issue of media and terrorism upon which the question of the study is focused.

What are the main frameworks used by the New York Times, Daily Mail, and the Middle East newspaper in addressing the news of armed groups in the Middle East? What are the main ideas the three newspapers dealt with in the context of dealing with terrorism? What treatment methods did these newspapers use to cover the subject of terrorism? What is the line of concern of the newspapers that dealt with terrorism? In addition, the terrorism has become trans-boundary and has become one of the most serious social and political challenges facing humanity in terms of size and unpredictability.

The results of the study showed that terrorism has become a threat to the security of many Arab countries, causing tremendous political and economic losses, that it has a strong psychological impact on the population, and that the current situation witnesses the widespread of this cross-border phenomenon.
