Abstract EN

In this research, I have dealt with the concept of Monotheism through clarification and syntactic analysis.

I have examined all its designations in the Holy Qur’an and sorted them out into thirty seven types categorized into six structures.

I have tackled and analyzed the known doctrinal kinds of monotheism.

I also drew on a number of selected examples with different structures from Hadith.

Through my review of the literature, I did not find enough studies regarding the clarification and syntax of the word monotheism that could respond to the need of the knowledgeable researcher.

So, I sought to collect a scientific material under the title of ‘The Word Monotheism in the Holy Qur’an: a Linguistic Study’.

I started with a brief analytical study and then I proceeded to the linguistic study by mentioning the different views of the linguists, together with an accurate scientific examination based on what is mentioned in the Holy Qur’an and prophet’s Hadith.

Finally, I mentioned the most important results I have reached.
