Training needs of agricultural employees in the Nineveh agriculture directorate in the field of environmental pollution

Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to the level of training needs of agricultural employees in the Nineveh Agriculture Directorate in the field of environmental pollution in general.

identifying the degree of training needs of agricultural employees in the Nineveh Agriculture Directorate in each field of environmental pollution and in the items of each field The research included all agricultural employees in the Nineveh Agriculture Directorate, whose number is (208) employees, and a simple random sample of these employees was selected at a rate of (30% ).

Thus, the research sample reached (62) employees.

The data were collected by the questionnaire.

The results indicated that 82% of agricultural employees are in high need of training in the field of environmental pollution.

and that there is a significant correlation between the degree of training needs of agricultural employees and between the variable of age and the attitude towards environmental pollution, while there is no correlation between the training needs of agricultural employees and between the variable of academic achievement, the H and sources of agricultural information.

The researcher reached the most important conclusions, which is that agricultural employees need to develop their information in the field of the environment compared to other fields, and among the most important recommendations and research proposals is the preparation of training courses for agricultural employees in the field of environmental pollution in by cooperation and coordination with the Nineveh Agriculture Directorate and agricultural divisions which affiliated, key words: training, needs.
