International humanitarian law regulates the use of force during armed conflicts and works to provide humanitarian protection for victims of armed conflicts, to some extent, some of the most wild issues of mankind through the principles within the law such as races discrimination, humanity, unnecessary suffering, proportionality, etc., In the era of emerging technologies, the international community deeps into discussion of how to apply these principles, especially under weapons systems that make self-decisions regarding to the issues of life and death through a system of machine learning, and the development of artificial intelligence.
