This presentation seeks to search for ways to develop and renew methods of teaching the language component in high school given the difficulties and obstacles it presents.
This has pushed researchers to think deeply to find better ways to develop it in terms of methods, content, and classroom practices, etc.
To overcome these gaps, some principles have been suggested.
They combine curricular renewal with the renewal and development of the classroom practices.
These principles include that of continuity, of gradation, of complementarity, of relevance in the didactic transfer, of connection between the different components, and finally that of creativity and innovation in the teaching methods.
