Education is considered as a one of the most essential basics of the educational project that aims at fostering values whose existence is threatened due to quick international events’ developments and technological change.

Perhaps, one of the most important values, in which countries have a special interest, is “tolerance”.This article deals with “role of education in developing the culture of tolerance”, and that is after failure of traditional educational systems at transmitting and developing this value.

Those systems also failed at facing deplored phenomena as violence, tyranny of individualism and selfishness.

The article suggests one of the procedural educational strategies as well for developing tolerance value and emotional intelligence
