Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the attitude of the Saudi towards some contemporary societal issues (independence, consumption, culture and public arts, political participation, plastic surgery, etc.), in addition to identifying the most important future issues that occupy their thinking.

The study used the survey method and it was applied to a sample of 340 Saudi female university students from the College of Arts at King Saud University.

The researcher found out that the sample’s verbal responses varied regarding expressions related to the issue of independence, the issue of consumption, the issue of culture and public arts, as well as the issue of plastic surgery, as reflected by the moderate averages.

The students ’responses to the expressions on the position of women’s political work indicated approval to a large extent.

Regarding the most important issues that occupy the Saudi girl’s thinking, fear of bad economic conditions came first, while fear of failure in marriage came last
