The study aimed to identify the effect of the political division in the Palestinian territories on the decline of the status of the Palestinian Question, by looking at different angles of the Palestinian issue, such as: Jerusalem, security coordination, and resistance.

The researcher used the analytical descriptive method, and depended on a number of secondary sources.

And he reached a set of results, the most important is: The split represented a great opportunity for regional interventions (Arab, Turkish and Persian) in the Palestinian matter.

The Israeli occupation was the most beneficial side from the division, so it perpetuated it, and dealt with the two sides of the division in two different ways.

Also, external factors and the Israeli intervention have played a prominent role in reinforcement the division in the Palestinian territories.
