Abstract EN

The research deals with the issue of the Fatimid ministry in the Al-Aziz Bellah caliphate reign as it dimonstrates the meaning of the ministry, its emergence in Islam and the types and powers granted to the ministry.

The research focuses mainly on the emergence of the ministry and its development among the Fatimids after transferring their caliphate to Egypt.

The research highlights that Al-Aziz Bellah was the first to appoint ministers as he appointed Ya'qoub bin Kilis as a minister granting him a great range of authorities and powers.

The research also shows how the Fatimid ministry developed as well as showing the Caliph al-Aziz Bella's attitude after the death of his minister, Ya`qub ibn Kilis.
