Abstract EN

The research deals with a study of a new collection of dirhams from the coins of the Abbasid revolution.

These coins are struck in the years 130 AH, 131 AH, 132 AH, 133 AH, These dirhams minted in Merv, some of them bear the slogan of the Abbasid revolution, which is the Qur'anic quote from Surah Al-Shura: Verse 34: “Say: No reward do I ask of you for this except to be kind to me for my kinship with you”, Others do not have the slogan, In this paper, i will present these dirhams and analyze their inscriptions, in terms of the political reasons that were behind its minting, and the effect of their circulation in the city of Merv during the research period.
