استخدامات الجمهور البحريني لمصادر المعلومات عن "كورونا" وتأثيراتها

Abstract EN

This study aims at identifying the most prominent sources of information used by the Bahraini audience during Corona Virus pandemic, and knowing the most noticeable motives for these uses, in addition to the content of information being followed, in what form it was presented and its evaluation.

The study also aims at monitoring the most distinguished cognitive, emotional, psychological and behavioral impacts of using such information and following them.

The study was based on the theory of Uses and Gratifications, adopting the survey method; the survey included available samples, where the questionnaire instrument was used to collect data from 520 individuals representing the Bahraini audience in different provinces of the Kingdom.

The study concluded that most of the individuals usesocial media as a source of information about the Corona Virus.
