Abstract EN

The Iraqi economy was exposed to two external economic shocks represented by the decline in the prices of crude oil barrels to levels reached more than 33% of its prices at the beginning of the first half of 2008 as in 2007, and then re-rising, while the decline to 47% at the end of 2014 compared to Prices in 2013.

The effects of these declines have a negative effect on a range of local economic variables, which were the result of the interaction and mechanism economic work.

This study seeks to show the reflection of these shocks in variables by using the IPS-Impulse Response Function and using (VAR-Vector Autoregressive Model).

After 2003, the Iraqi economy became more vulnerable to the economic shocks of its relationship with the outside world as a result of the deepening of its revenues resulting from the accumulation of the effects of the situation Economic pre-this year and beyond by, change the administration process economy from highly centralized to decentralized management and openness is directed and confiding construction and development process for the private sector also wanted international financial institutions and the decisions of the civil administrator in Iraq by another hand.
