Abstract EN
The research relied on the quantitative method in studying and analyzing the risks of torrents by relying on the Snyder model، which is one of the mathematical models that the quantitative method adopts in hydrological studies.
In this research، the characteristics of geological structures and discoveries in terms of permeability nature، and climate characteristics represented by rain، evaporation and application of the water balance of the basin were identified.
According to the data of the Weather Authority of the Dokan and Sulaymaniyah stations.
After applying the Snyder model، the research found that the average flow volume (131.54 million m3 / s) and the average thickness and depth of flow (380 mm).
