The literary scene has known a new literary race called the flash story, by its birth, it posed many problems such as: Is it truly a literary race? What does it mean? What are its main ingredients? Despite this cognitive spiral, it imposed itself like any other literary genus, it had its special creators and controllers in its writing, just as it had its own audience who enjoyed his texts.

This magnetism between the text and its creators, and between the text and its recipients is controlled by its fragmentary language, which promotes linguistic intensification and economics, while carrying deep indications which may be infinity as the recipient is involved in building it as it fills with different connotations, That is why its creator must be proficient in selecting the term in which the meaning is commonly expressed.

This is what we notice in the short story collection “Shahrnar” by Tunisian writer Ibrahim Dargouthi, that includes stories with narrow meaning and intense meaning
