Scientific and technological progress during the twentieth century was accompanied by tremendous economic changes, with the large flow of production and the increase in the movement of trade exchanges, which led to interest in inventions that became the basis of scientific and technological development, and thus these inventions were protected by granting patents to their owners, and thus benefited from the right of Excluding the exploitation of these inventions without others, but this protection granted to them may be violated by others by imitating the invention, which is considered a crime.
