Abstract EN

This paper highlights the important role of the family of Abdulrahman bin Abdullag bin Allwan bin al Ustath Al Halebi in the administrative and intellectual aspects in the period (656 AH - 1258 AD / 788 AH - 1388 AD).

this family is one of the Aleppine families wich appeared in the Levant in the sixth, seventh and eighth centuries AH.

This paper falls into three sections.

Section one deals with the political situation in the Levant, with a brief introduction to the family of Afbdulrahman bin Allwan.

Section two focuses on the administrative side, including the names of those who worked in the judiciary.

Section three tackles the scientific contributions of this family, which is represented in their role in teaching at the schools of the Levant and Egypt, and teaching jurisprudence and the narration of the prophetic hadiths.
