Abstract EN

The current study aims to reveal the level of deficiency in executive functions among children with intellectual disability, as well as to identify the differences in the components of executive functions according to gender, and the intellectually handicapped children receive or not receive distance education.

The sample consisted of (30) children with intellectual disabilities, whose ages ranged from 4: 18 years.

The study tool was derived from the Behavior Rating inventory for Executive Functions (Teacher Form).

The results indicated a strong convergence in the performance of the study sample on the components of executive functions, and there were no statistically significant differences between males and females on the components of executive functions, except for the working memory dimension, in which females were more deficient than males.

The results also showed that there were no differences between children with intellectual disabilities who received and did not receive distance education on the components of executive functions.
