Abstract EN

The research aims to benefit from leather and formation style to produce contemporary products hand by providing modern design visions for handmade products inspired by leather shaping, composition and hand embroidery, this research follows the descriptive and experimental method.

he research tools consisted of questionnaire for judging the (8) executed products such as; (a wall desk and also a library, ship shaped baby bed, pouf, a corner contains a library, a mermaid, and a carpet., guitar shaped library,, a library in the shape of a music key, a sofa, a chair, a rocking bed.) For evaluation by the 15 specialized faculty members, the statistical results showed that it is possible to benefit from the formation of leather and the method of synthesis in raising the aesthetic, functional and technical value of handmade products in the light of the proposed design visions according to the opinions of the arbitrators.

The specialists agreed in arranging the executed products, as the third product came in the most aesthetic, functional and technical terms, followed by the first, then the second, and then the seventh in all purposes, while the sixth and eighth products came the least in terms of aesthetic, functional and technical terms.
