This study about the reality of the audiovisual openness in Algeria attempt at the nature of the controversy between what was included in the 2014 legislative texts on Audiovisual Law in terms of a wider margin to consecrate media pluralism through the emergence of many satellite tv channels, and the effects and manifestations.

It is, Therefore, question of focusing on the limits of freedom permitted by the 2014 Audiovisual Law.

The most important conclusion is that the audiovisual openness, despite the positive aspects it has developed, remains only a still young initiative aimed at orbing the conditions of the majority of viewers, which requires strengthening the legal framework in the audiovisual field with texts that guarantee media practice It establishes the concept of positive openness within society.
