This study aims to shed light on the role of the International Criminal Court in laying the foundations of criminal justice, by highlighting the effectiveness of the substantive and procedural criminal judicial protection of the International Criminal Court in protecting human rights, whether for the accused or victims, in an effort to preserve the basic rights and freedoms of individuals, to provide standards International Fair Trial.

In the same context, the guarantees that the accused enjoys before the International Criminal Court will be addressed in each of the stages of the investigation, for trial and execution of the judgment, in a way that guarantees the achievement of justice and in line with the relevant international standards, in addition to the guarantees that the court provides to victims and witnesses through their protection and assistance to reach Truth and adequate compensation for victims who were vulnerable to the most serious crimes.
