Abstract EN

This study aimed to read Ibn-Jinni's explanation of Al-Mutanabbi's diwan called 'Al-Fasr', a critical reading, as it began with the introduction, and then showed the objectives of the study, then the approach followed by the researchers in this study, which is the descriptive analytical and critical approach, and presented the importance of the study.

I examined the study and analysis of the reason why Ibn-Jinni composed this to explanation, his method (his way), and his position on what has been called "thefts of the Mutanabbi", his opinions in his poetry, his outputs for his poetry, and his balance of the Mutanabbi's poetry with other poets.

I presented the end of the research, several results which the study concluded, there are two aspects related to the way of Ibn-Jinni's explanation first Mutanabbi's book is theoretical.

Ibn-Jinni made it clear that he will focus on what happened between him and al-Mutanabbi when reading the diwan, then disclose the contents of his poetry by summarizing and clarifying, and stating the stray from his term and what is ambiguous from his poetry semantically and expressively, leaving the news about him known to people for its fame with them, summarizing and avoiding lengthening except for usefulness.
