The information revolution that swept the world at the end of the 20th century led to the emergence of a number of crimes with specific characteristics, multiple types and different designations, despite their belonging to the category of cybercrimes.

As a result, the international community has been forced to find new ways to protect society from these new crimes, as well as to follow the progress of society by developing the international and national legal field first, starting with define the concept of these cross-border crimes.

To answer the problem of the meaning of cybercrimes, we decided to write this article to clarify the concept of these crimes through two themes.

In the first one, we dealt with different types of cybercrimes and their multiple denominations, and in the second, we tried to explain the concept of cybercrimes.
