Abstract EN

We aim to take account of the epistemological intersection between the textual linguistic approach to the ellipsis mechanism in Western studies and its dimensions in the Arabic grammar lesson, and to elicit intersections between the two propositions.

We will do this, surveying our Arabic grammar heritage to reveal the manifestations of its newness and the possibility for linking it with the new findings in modern and contemporary linguistic studies as in text linguistics.

We have come to believe that the deeper our acquaintance with incoming approaches is, the more accurate and deep our understanding of our linguistic heritage, and the more it makes us take our language to cope with every reality that we or the other encounter in a feasible and useful way for the better of our language.
