English Abstract

The current research aims to know the pros and cons of social media addiction teenagers have.

Social media, like technology in general, has both positive and negative aspects, and when it comes to the impact of social media on teenagers, those positives and negatives are especially important.

Facebook,Instagram and Twitter can be life-saving platforms for teenagers who feel isolated or marginalized.

As wellas adolescents with mental health problems, those interested found many positive effects of social media on making friends for them.

Conversely, frequent use of social media among adolescents and young adults has less positive consequences.

This includes cyberbullying and negative self-image, social media addiction, and spending less time doing healthy activities in the real world.
