English Abstract

This research aims to (design an electronic learning environment based on communicative theory and its effect on achievement among students of the College of Basic Education in the subject of geographic information systems) and to verify the goal of the research, the researcher used null hypotheses that make sure that there is no statistically significant difference in the dependent variable between the group Control and experimental.

The total sample of the research (experimental and control) was (73) students from the third grade of the Geography Department of theCollege of Basic Education.

And the academic year( 2016-2017) before starting an experiment.

The experiment lasted a full course, and after completing the vocabulary of the geographic information systems subject specified in the application of the experiment, the researcher applied the search tool (achievement test), and the results were superior to the experimental group over the control group in the achievement variable
