English Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the effect of the reverse thinking strategy on the skillful thinking of first-grade intermediate students in the subject of science, and for the purpose of verifying the two objectives of the research, the two researchers formulated the following null hypothesis7There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students who study according to the reverse thinking strategy and the average scores of the control group students who will study according to the usual method in the scale of skillful thinking in science for the first intermediate grade0 The two researchers used the experimental design with partial control of two equal, independent experimental and control groups, and according to this design, the research sample was intentionally chosen from the research community represented in the intermediate and secondary (day) government schools for boys affiliated to the General Directorate of Education in Baghdad Governorate _ Al-Karkh Second Al-Ma'mun District, and it was (Shaalan Intermediate School).
