The Arab Civilization in Andalusia affected all aspects of scientific and literary life and the Arab heritage represented in the book of one thousand and one nights had a great impact of on Spanish literature in the Renaissance it is considered one of the largest story encyclopedias that Europeans were fascinated with due to its imagination and creativity among the most famous Spanish writers who were inspired by the tales of the Thousand and one nights is the writer (calderon de la Barca) who was able to draw from them many stylistic elements with the addition of the new employment connotations, so that the play of (life is a dream) is one of the forty best international plays throughout history.

This confirms the uniqueness of The Thousand and One Nights, which makes it comparable to Homer's Iliad, from which Greek writers drew their greatest works.
