English Abstract

The aim of the research was to identify the effect of the Pecs strategy (P.E.C.S) on holistic thinking and to verify this goal the null hypothesis was formulated: (P.E.C.S) and the average score of female control group students who study according to the usual method of holistic thinking.

The research community was represented by the fifth-year students in the third-day middle and high schools affiliated to Baghdad's Al-Karkh Education, which are (49) schools distributed in (6) sectors, As for the research sample, it was represented by the students of the fifth year of the biological science, and the victory numbers for the girls were chosen in the intentional way, and two schools were chosen randomly to represent one of the experimental group (35) and the second was the control group of 36, and a statistical equivalence was conducted between the two research groups in Some of the variables that the two researchers believe affect the search results, and with regard to the research instrument, a measure of holistic thinking was prepared that included (48) paragraphs of the multiple choice type with four alternatives, and its honesty, consistency, and discriminatory strength were confirmed to it and the results of the research showed the following: There is a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of students of the experimental group who are studying according to the PECS strategy and the average score of the students of the control group who are studying according to the usual method of comprehensive thinking and in favor of the experimental group.
