English Abstract

The current research aims to identify: 1.

future thinking of distinguished students.

2.

Self-regulation of distinguished students.

3.

The relationship between future thinking and self-regulation among distinguished students.

4.

The differences in the relationship between future thinking and self-regulation according to the gender variable (male - female).

1.

The research sample consisted of (400) male and female students, who were selected randomly, with a proportional distribution of (236) males and (164) females.

The following results were reached: 2.

The distinguished students have future thinking.

3.

The distinguished students have the ability to organize themselves and their behavior through self-observation, self-judgments and response.

4.

The existence of a direct relationship between future thinking and self-regulation, and thus constitutes a creative vision for the future.

5.

There is a greater correlation between the two variables among females than for males, and this is explained on the basis of the social context of girls in terms of education and education, which are influenced by the methods and characteristics of social formation in terms of interest in it.
