English Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify the effect of teaching according to the two strategies of information processing in the achievement and visual thinking of fourth-grade students, and in order to verify the goal of this research, the researcher developed two null hypotheses, and in order for the researcher to make sure of these null hypotheses, she conducted an experiment and adopted the experimental method of partial control and the post-test of two equal groups: The two research groups for the achievement of biology and visual thinking were represented by students of the secondary school of Baghdad College of the Office of the Minister of Education and included (34, 33) students, one of which represented the experimental group that studied according to the strategy of information processing and the other represented a control group.

Previous, previous bio-information, intelligence, chronological age, and visual thinking) The researcher has prepared two tools for the research, namely, an achievement test of its kind, multiple choice, consisting of (40) items, and a test for visual thinking.

The type of test is also multiple choice, consisting of (25) items, and the psychometric properties of the two tools were verified The experiment was applied in the first semester, and the researcher taught the two research groups on her own.

After completing the experiment, the researcher conducted statistical analysis using a (t-test) for the two independent samples, and the results showed that the students of the first and second experimental group exceeded the control group students in both the achievement test and visual reasoning only.

Results of this research, the researcher has drawn up a number of conclusions and recommendations related to the results of the research, as well as a number of proposals
