Abstract EN

Baghdad in the Abbasid era embraced scholars and talents that were greatly encouraged and praised by the caliphs and the most senior statesmen, and the singer Abu Hashisha al-Tanbouri was among those talents that had a role in entertaining of the caliphs and the elders of the state, who was known for his craft and skill in singing in the Abbasid era.

The research was divided into four axes, the first axis included his name, surname, and career, while the second axis dealt with his connection with the caliphs and the elders of the state and his singing to them, and the third axis included the praise by his contemporary singers, as well as his praise of some of them who were proficient in his field of work.

The fourth and last axis included his writings and the cause of his death.

The conclusion was a summary of the most important findings of the research.
