English Abstract

The current study aims at knowing : ( Problem of Teaching Socials Studies Material in Intermediate stage from the Viewpoint of the Teachers of the Material ).The community of the current study is represented by schools and teachers of the subject of social studies, who are registered in the Directorate of Education in the Governorate of Diyala .

The researcher specifies the schools of Baqubah district intentionally and specifically the teachers of the subject of social studies for the first and second intermediate grades to conduct the study.

they are (55) schools and (77) teachers .

The researcher uses the descriptive approach.

After making ensuring validity and reliability, the researcher uses questionnaire tool.

As for the statistical means used in analyzing the results, the researcher uses the Pearson correlation coefficient to calculate the value of the tool reliability coefficient in retesting method .

In addition, Fisher’s equation is also used to know the degree of severity of each item of the study tools and to know its value and sequence in relation to other items within the same field for the purpose of interpreting the results.

Chi square (Ka) is used to ensure the validity of the tool .To describe research community, sample and finding the validity of the tool, the percentage is used too.

Finally the percentage weight is used to show the relative value of each item of the tool and to benefit from it in interpreting the results.
